Members of
Asiatic Society of Bangladesh

At present the Society has 1034 members of whom 606 are for life and 428 are general members. All persons having at least two research publications are eligible for seeking membership. But the Council and General body of members elect only those who are being recommended by the Membership Committee. There is no nationality bar to become a member of the Society. Members have the right to vote, attend Society’s meetings, buy its publications at half price, and enjoy all benefits offered by the Society.

A member member can apply for life membership if he/she has already been a member for at least five years without any negative record against them. The fee for ordinary membership is Tk 200.00 for one time admission and Tk. 500.00 per year and life members Tk. 3000.00 .
